Charlane
There was a young girl in the rain.
Her middle name was Charlane.
Charlane’s first name is Vicki,
getting rid of her middle name would be tricky.
Mae is the middle name of Janet.
Oh how she wishes she could just ban it.
They thought they could make things better,
By getting together.
These mixed up dames,
traded middle names.
On the seventh month and twenty third day,
they became Janet Charlane and Vicki Mae.
Now happiness abounds,
in both their home towns.
And I have run out of things to say,
the rest I will leave to Vicki Mae!
